Awesome Easter!

Regardless of this post being considered "late", this past Sunday deserves some mention! Beyond fantastic food and egg hunts (photos of this out-grown activity are available somewhere on facebook), remains the resurrection. I always really enjoy the Good Friday service; toned- down and reflective, contemplating the death of the Christ. Then with Sunday comes the joyful celebration of all that is central to the Gospel. At church, they had an actual bridge on stage, and P Rob gave the straight up bridge gospel message (for those who have never heard of this: that is, that Jesus Christ is the bridge the connects Man to God). Anyone who had made a decision to follow Christ that morning or since last Easter was asked to walk across the bridge as a sort of declaration. Let me tell you, this was such an amazing illustration that really impacted me! As the masses (keep in mind this was 1/4 services) crossed that bridge, I could not hold back the mini fire hydrant inside of me. It was such a cool picture... I am so blessed to be a part of church that is having such a huge impact for the glory of our Savior Jesus Christ!
